After what seems like a busy final few days for entries to the British Podcast Awards, the Listener Choice Category is now open where you can vote for your favourite UK made podcast.

The British Podcast Awards have been welcoming submissions from all kinds of shows, from small indie operations through to those backed by huge brands and organisations.

From Matt Hill and Matt Deegan, the awards aim to showcase and celebrate the best of British podcasting, a market that’s been growing enormously over the past few years.

According to their website:

“The British Podcast Awards are here to promote the great work you’re doing, encourage listeners to try new shows, and provide a space for producers, presenters, sponsors, platforms, writers and performers to have fun.”

And while formal entries might be closed for judging now, the Listener Choice Award is now open for voting until 5pm April 28.

The awards evening itself will take place on April 29, at the Platform Theatre, King’s Cross. Tickets are available to purchase now.
