Another week, another jam-packed edition of Podcasts We’re Listening To, where we shout out loud about all the awesome podcast episodes we’ve heard over the past week.

Turn the lights off- grab the candles and wine. Who’s that at the door? It’s Podblasts- and we’re feeling horny.

My Dad Wrote a Porno

S3E1- ‘London; Thursday 15.55 Local Time’

Headlining this week’s edition of Podcasts We’re Listening To, it’s a triumphant return for Belinda Blumenthal as the third season of My Dad Wrote a Porno pops its lids.

Jamie, James and Alice are back doing what do best- reading Rocky Flintstone’s so-bad-it’s-good series of erotic novels.

Unless this is your first day listening to podcasts, there’s a pretty good chance you’ve heard My Dad Wrote a Porno, and the start of a new season proves why. As outrageous, funny, and ridiculous as ever- a fresh batch of MDWAP will make Mondays for the next few months so much more enjoyable.

Probably True Podcast

While we’re still feeling horny on the back of My Dad Wrote a Porno, we’ve discovered a new kink this week in Scott Flashheart and The Probably True Podcast.

Tackling LGBT issues in short, sweet and slightly filthy bitesize packages, this time Scott whips us into shape as we get down to the subject of kinks.

Still looking to ‘get you a man who can do both?’. We might have found him. Scott manages to talk about leather, whips and nipple clamps with a voice soothing enough to read bedtime stories to kids, in a show that’s as funny as it is revealing.

Rose Buddies

Ep. 72: Rachel and the Real Boy

WHABOOM! While we’re on the subject of being horny, there’s no better time to get into the stunningly good Rose Buddies than with the start of a new season of The Bachelorette.

Rachel and Griffin McElroy carry on with their companion podcast to the dating show franchise we love to hate as Rachel Lindsay heads out to find love.

We’ve spoken at length before about what makes Rose Buddies- and the people who listen to it- so unbelievable fantastic, but this time Rachel and Griffin step it up a notch in terms of wokeness as they continue recognising that there’s some real problematic undertones in ABC’s love-fest.

Twin Peaks Rewatch

35: The Return, Part 1

And while we’re talking about companion podcasts (damn we’re good at segues this week), it’d be crazy not to talk about that show you like that’s coming back in style.

From Chris Remo, Jake Rodkin and the Idle Thumbs network, Twin Peaks Rewatch is the podcast to listen to if- like us- you’re feeling a little confused after watching the new season of Twin Peaks.

Chris and Jake’s commentary is so incredibly thorough that it feels almost like an official companion to the show. From character and plot information through to dissection of everything David Lynch, we’ll be sure to listen to this podcast after every new episode of Twin Peaks.

What’s Good Games

Far Cry 5 Details

Brittney Brombacher, Andrea Rene, Kristine Steimer and Alexa Ray Corriea are the hosts of awesome new podcast What’s Good Games, a weekly look at everything video games.

Despite only two episodes released so far, the show’s racked up well over three hours, and while longform podcasts often find listener retention tricky, there’s nothing to worry about here.

This week’s episode covers the delay of Red Dead Redemption 2, Crash Bandicoot and Far Cry 5. The great success the show’s had so far crowdfunding on Patreon only goes to show how great this formidable foursome is when it comes to video game chat.

Worst Foot Forward

Ep 22: Ivo Graham- World’s Worst Kids Movie

Take of your shoes and jump into the sticky smelly ball pit of childhood memories, as this week the Worst Foot Forward podcast tries to find the worst kids movie.

Ben Van der Velde and Barry Brett-McStay are joined by comedian Ivo Graham for a look back at some of the best and worst movies we were all subjected to as kids.

Fast-paced, funny, and combining great guests with great subjects, Worst Foot Forward is one of those podcasts that we’d love to see live.

That’s all we’ve got for this week! If you make your way through all these recommendations, check out past editions of Podcasts We’re Listening To!
